With news of of Resurrection Fighting Alliance (RFA) and Legacy Fighting Championship announcing their merger. With Joe Silva’s departure UFC hires Legacy Founder Mick Maynard as the new VP of Talent Relations position for UFC new ownership WME-IMG. Working side by side with Senior VP of Talent Relations Sean Shelby who has been with UFC for 14 years. Ed Soares the President of RFA will now serve as the CEO and Sven Bean will be COO for the new Legacy Fighting Alliance.

Based on the strength of talent within the combined organization and LFA’s 30 fight schedule, AXS TV Fights will expand its 2017 line-up to 45 live events, its largest ever; extend its live broadcast window to three hours; and kick off its Friday night broadcasts an hour earlier at 7 p.m. CT/6 p.m. PT.
