Professional Mix Martial Athletes Managing Their Brand So You Will Successful

US Elite Combat Management

We have been fortunate to manage fighters who have been signed by the UFC, Bellator, WSOF, World Fighting Federation, Legacy FC and other Regional Shows.

Once a athlete is given a contract, it really is up to them to put a percentage of their show money into a nest egg. In the fight game there is also a opportunity to gain win money as well as sponsorship money, they should also put a percentage of this into a nest egg.

US Elite Combat is here to help guide and mentor these athletes with financial advisors.

Being careful in who you give a power of attorney to such a Coach who now only is interest in your financial monies. A girlfriend who has bad intentions, maybe you have made a mistake

and now they are going to make you pay, such as half of your earnings.

You have a small window of opportunity in your professional career, so make the best of it and don’t squander it.

Then there’s the fact that most professional fighters, even those who make it to the UFC, don’t make anywhere close to the amounts of money that other professional athletes make. For those not fighting in the UFC, professional MMA is almost certainly not their only source of income. They might make $300 to show and $300 to win as the pro debut of a regional event, but even making that amount four times in a year will only put those fighters in the “welfare” category. Those making it to UFC earning $7,000 to show and $7,000 to win and maybe fighting once or twice a year for them your still making less than $30,000 a year barely over the minimum wage and  after taxes, paying your manager, coaches, dietician, gym fees, accountant and lawyer they surely need to rely on another source of income to get by.

Like Rocky said “If you know what you are worth, then go after it”

Salary for a rookie in the NFL is around $450,000 and NBA players around $400,000, MLB is around $500,000, NHL is around $525,000 MMA has along way to go.

Like Rocky said “If you know what you are worth, then go after it”

“A Sports Illustrated article reports the grim statistics — 78 percent of NFL players face bankruptcy or serious financial stress within just two years of leaving the game and 60 percent of NBA players face the same dire results in five years. Jul 1, 2013″

Many MMA fighters after their careers really don’t have anything to show as they are struggling just to pay their rent, buy food for their families. Some have been fortunate to buy into gym and coach and train other fighters. Hence having 10-20 mma gyms in one town which over populating and saturating the market. Every fighter having a EGO and thinking they can do it better.

US Elite Combat knows a gym where everyone once trained, then after making it to one of the BIG Leagues, they left stole members and went off to try and become the next super star gym.  Pretty sad in our opinion. No loyalty or integrity.

So what we are saying center yourself with people you can trust.

We are the Management Company you can trust. Just ask our current or past athletes.
